The Library the Family Left Behind
The Dark Family book nook is a gothic Halloween parlour on two floors: shelves crammed with dark volumes, candelabras throwing warm light over coffins and curiosities, a ghost trapped in a hanging cage, a guillotine standing in the middle of the room and a stern family portrait watching over it all. Outside, the side panel shows the family manor silhouetted against a full moon, with bats crossing the sky. Light it up in October and it's the spookiest thing on the shelf.
